News: PC&S is Pleased to Announce Recent Employee Promotions

Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc. (PC&S), one of the region’s leading engineering firms, is pleased to announce the recent promotion of three employees: Paul M. Gouza, Richard H. Stanger, and Colleen Fairman.
 Paul M. Gouza Promoted to Director of Operations
Paul Gouza, who has been with PC&S since 1985, was recently promoted to Director of Operations, a newly formed position within the company. As Director, Paul will oversee the Administration, Marketing, Computer, Accounting, and the Human Resources Departments. Paul's responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing overall coordination among the offices and assuring that corporate and employee issues are addressed in an effective and timely manner. Paul will review existing company workflows and processes to improve productivity.
Paul received his Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Lebanon Valley College and has served as Corporate Treasurer since 2002 and previously served as the Assistant Treasurer. He has served on the Board of Directors and is also the Collection Officer for PC&S.
 Richard H. Stanger, P.E., Promoted to Manager of Transportation Design
Richard (Rick) Stanger, who has been with PC&S for over 14 years, was recently promoted to Manager of our Transportation Design Services. Rick has extensive experience and knowledge in the design and management of transportation projects, having over 22 years of industry experience.
Rick, who was recently elected to the PC&S Board of Directors, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
 Colleen Fairman Promoted to Marketing Manager
Colleen Fairman joined Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc., in 2007 as our Marketing Coordinator and was recently promoted to Marketing Manager. In her new role, Colleen will oversee and manage the various aspects of the firm’s marketing and business development activities. She will be responsible for the maintenance of the marketing database, the company website, and all publicity and promotions. Colleen will also continue to prepare proposals, qualification packages, and presentations in coordination with the Division and Project Managers. She will also develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the firm, its employees, and its services.
