News: PennDOT Selects Pickering Corts & Summerson, Inc. to perform Statewide Pontis CoRe Element Inventory

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) recently selected Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc. (PC&S) to perform Statewide Pontis CoRe Element Inventory for the Department’s Central Harrisburg office. The work will be performed in PennDOT Districts 5-0, 6-0, and 8-0.

PC&S will be the prime consultant for this $2M project and has teamed with Dawood Engineering as their sub consultant. PC&S is currently performing CoRe element inventory for over 500 structures in Districts 5-0, 6-0, and 8-0 under a central office agreement and through this project has demonstrated the understanding and expertise necessary to meet the Districts’ needs.

This project is anticipated to begin in April 2009.
