News: Jenna Ockford of PC&S Receives Pennsylvania Bridge Inspector Certification

Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc. (PC&S), a full-service engineering firm with corporate headquarters in Newtown, Bucks County, is pleased to announce that Jenna Ockford, E.I.T., recently obtained her bridge inspector certification for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

In order to obtain this certification, Jenna completed the Basic Bridge Safety Inspection Course offered through the National Highway Institute, in Harrisburg, PA, and successfully completed the required examinations.

After completing the required hours of attendance for the Bridge Inspector Certification during September and October of this year, Jenna now has the training necessary to inventory and inspect bridges in accordance with the requirements of the National Bridge Inspection Standards.

Jenna received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware and has been a valuable member of the PC&S Transportation group for over a year. We proudly congratulate Jenna for successfully completing this course and for achieving her certification.
