News: Delaware River Port Authority Selects PC&S Underwater Inspection Group for Philadelphia Project

Pickering, Corts and Summerson, Inc., (PC&S) a full-service engineering firm, headquartered in Newtown, PA, was recently awarded a project in Philadelphia for the Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA).

The PC&S underwater inspection group will serve as a sub consultant to Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT). This is a large project that involves upgrades to the Penns Landing Terminal. PC&S will be performing the underwater inspection of a floating barge which is used by the Penns Landing ferry. Underwater inspection Manager Al Jackson stated that the project team also includes Moffatt & Nichol (M&N), HAKS Engineers, G&C Environmental Services, and LDC/New Jersey.

The project is anticipated to begin in May 2009.
