News: PCS Hires Jeanne Tontz as Transportation Technician

 Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc. is pleased to welcome Jeanne Tontz as a Transportation Technician. Jeanne recently graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. Additionally, she will be taking the Fundamentals of Engineering exam (FEE) in the fall.
“We are very excited to have Jeanne join the Transportation Design Team,” said J. Michael Wintermute. P.E., Manager of Highway Engineering. “We have experienced significant growth in the past year and I am confident that with Jeanne’s background and experience, she will be a great addition to PCS.”
As a Transportation Technician, Jeanne will be responsible for completing analyses/designs associated with highway and structural engineering; performing engineering assignments that involve conventional engineering designs, structure evaluations, investigations, or surveys; performing assignments that may include: component designs, plan development, preparation of specifications, quantity calculations, estimating, and report preparations; assisting in the preparation and presentation of engineering reports, bid proposals, deeds, environmental documents, and property and right-of-way descriptions; analyzing survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects or inspect structures.
