News: PCS Project Teams Selected by Districts 5-0 and 8-0 for Design/Build Contracts

 Pickering Corts & Summerson, Inc., (PCS) a full-service civil engineering firm headquartered in Newtown, Bucks County, PA, is proud to announce the recent award of two Design/Build contracts with PennDOT Districts 5-0 and 8-0.
PennDOT District 5-0 Contract with James D. Morrissey
PCS will provide design services to James D. Morrissey of Philadelphia, for the restoration of a concrete highway. The project is on State Route 0033 in Monroe County in Hamilton, Ross, and Stroud Townships. The project will involve the final plan preparation for the roadway; traffic control; pavement marking and signing; erosion and sediment control plan; traffic management plan; incident management plan; and survey and permit services for approximately nine (9) miles of the four-lane highway.
PennDOT District 8-0 Contract with J. D. Eckman
Under this contract, PCS will provide J.D. Eckman of Atglen, PA with design and plan services for a bridge deck replacement. The project is in District 8-0 on State Route 0011 in Dauphin County in Reed Township. The project will involve final type, size, and location (TS&L) submissions; final plan preparation for the single span structure; roadway; traffic control; pavement marking and signing; erosion and sediment control plan; incident management plan; and survey and permit services for the 115 ft single span bridge deck replacement and associated road work.
