News: PCS Provides Surveying Services for Two New Lockheed Martin Facilities

Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc., a consulting engineering firm headquartered in Newtown, Bucks County, PA, is currently providing surveying services for the construction of two new facilities at Lockheed Martin’s Space System Operations located in Newtown, PA. These facilities will support spacecraft programs for both government and commercial needs.

The first facility, a multi-purpose conference center, will accommodate large scale meetings. This new facility will include many separate meeting rooms which will provide state of the art audio visual and IT equipment.

The second new facility will be a 17,000 square foot expansion of the Product Team Building. This building will serve as an extension to Lockheed Martin’s current satellite manufacturing capability.

Both of the new facilities are certified Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), making the buildings more environmentally sustainable.
