News: PCS Wins Design-Build Construction Project in District 5-0

 Pickering Corts & Summerson, Inc., (PCS) a full-service engineering firm headquartered in Newtown, PA, is proud to announce the recent award of a Design/Build contract with PennDOT District 5-0.
PCS will provide design services to James D. Morrissey for design & plans for highway restoration and interchange reconstructions under this design-build contract. The project is in District 5-0 on SR 0033 in Northampton County in Plainfield & Bushkill Townships.
The work involves final plan preparation for the roadway, ramps, traffic control, pavement marking & signing, and E&S; traffic management plan & incident management plan; stormwater basins; final right of way plans & acquisition services; survey and permits for approximately two (2) miles of 4-lane highway including the SR33/512 Interchange. The Project also involves approximately one (1) mile of reconstruction on SR 512 including a new traffic signal and ADA requirements.
