News: PCS Selected to Perform Survey Services for Route 202, Section 65N, Montgomery County, PA

Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc. (PCS) a full-service engineering firm headquartered in Newtown, PA, was recently selected to provide Roadcon, Inc. with surveying services for S.R. 0202, Section 65N in Montgomery County, PA.
The project consists of the widening and reconstruction of approximately 2.09 miles of the existing S.R. 0202 (DeKalb Pike) to a five-lane roadway and the widening and reconstruction of approximately 0.81 miles of existing S.R. 0063 (Welsh Road) to a four to five-lane roadway. Additionally, the project involves the construction of approximately 0.15 miles of a five-lane connector road on new alignment between S.R. 0202 and S.R. 6202, construction of approximately 0.25 miles of realigned roadway along municipal roads; including: three sound walls, stormwater management basins, and other miscellaneous construction. The project also includes the design of approximately one hundred (100) ADA compliant ramps. The limits of work will be generally between Swedesford Road and S.R. 309 (Bethlehem Pike). The project will begin in spring 2010.
