News: PCS Selected to Provide Bridge Inspection Services for the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT)

Pickering Corts & Summerson, Inc., (PCS) a full-service engineering firm headquartered in Newtown, PA, was recently selected to provide Bridge Inventory and Inspection services for NJDOT contract TP-801 (5) County Minor Bridge Inspections in Union County, New Jersey.

PCS will perform the inventory and inspections of 114 less than 20 feet bridges. The project will involve bridge inspections and inventory consistent with NBIS and NJDOT standards. The PCS project team will include H. Doutsen Hettema, E.I.T. as the project manager and Theodore A. Tuz, P.E., as the Team Leader.

The inventory part of the project will include locating the structure and recording basic data, and is expected to start late summer.
