News: PennDOT Selects Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc. for Six-Year Bridge Inspection Contract in Eastern Pennsylvania

PennDOT District 5-0, headquartered in Allentown PA, recently selected PCS to perform NBIS inspections on approximately 193 locally-owned bridges in Schuylkill, Monroe, and Carbon Counties.

The six-year, $2 million project is scheduled to begin in October 2007. PCS will conduct NBIS inspections on each of the estimated 193 bridges and additional interim inspections of approximately 42 select bridges. PCS will provide an inspection report for each bridge including inspection summary, photographs, bridge location map, and maintenance recommendations.

“We are thrilled to be awarded this contract,” said John Prybella, PCS President. “We have a great working relationship with PennDOT, and we are pleased to continue serving their needs.
