News: J. Michael Wintermute, P.E. Joins PC&S as Manager of Highway Engineering

Pickering, Corts & Summerson is pleased to announce the appointment of J. Michael Wintermute, P.E. as our Manager of Highway Engineering. Mr. Wintermute will be working for the firm’s Transportation Division in our Newtown, Pennsylvania corporate headquarters.

A graduate of Temple University, Mr. Wintermute will build on his 14-year career with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Engineering District 6-0 in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. At PennDOT, Mr. Wintermute served as Project Manager and Lead Highway Engineer and was responsible for the management and development of numerous design projects. Most recently, Mr. Wintermute served as the District’s Geotechnical Engineer, responsible for the review and approval of geotechnical investigations and foundation designs for all District sponsored projects.

“Mike’s diverse technical background and extensive experience will add depth and value to our transportation design services and will allow the firm to begin offering geotechnical services to our clients,” said James E. Maloney, P.E., Transportation Division Manager of PC&S. “I am confident that Mike will be a tremendous asset to our firm.
