News: PennDOT District 5-0 Selects PC&S for Bridge Inspection Contract

PennDOT District 5-0, headquartered in Allentown PA, recently selected PC&S to perform NBIS inspections and Pontis CoRe element inventory and assessment for approximately 560 bridges and culverts located in Carbon, Monroe, and Schuylkill Counties.

The winning project team consists of PC&S as the prime and STV and Dawood Engineering (DBE) as the sub consultants. All three companies have extensive experience with all different types of inspections in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and are well experienced with load ratings of all types of structures.

“We have developed a great working relationship with PennDOT and currently have CoRe element inventory contracts underway with Districts 5-0, 6-0, and 8-0,” said Jim White, PC&S Bridge Inspection Manager. “With the knowledge, experience, and thoroughness of our project team, I am confident that we will continue to exceed the District’s expectations.”

Inspections are anticipated to start in April 2008.
