Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc. (PC&S) worked with the New Hope Borough Revitalization committee, the Borough Council, and the Borough Park and Recreation Board to capitalize on the very rare open space in the Borough that is now known as Lenape Park. PC&S helped turn their idea of a municipal park into a reality by ensuring that the concept and final park design was a true representation of the combined visions and goals of all the parties involved, while also making sure that the public park met the requirements for the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Recourses (DCNR) grant funding program.

By forming a steering committee and conducting regular public meetings with business owners, residents and concerned citizens, PC&S aided the Borough in forming consensus with regard to the amenities to be included and the overall look of the new park.

Lenape Park now serves as a focal point for the Borough that prides serenity, security, and safety for all residents and visitors.
