Pickering, Corts & Summerson was recently awarded a project by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) to complete bridge safety inspections for an estimated 431 state-owned bridges in Montgomery County.
The project will involve two biennial bridge inspections to be performed on each bridge over a four-year period for a total of 862 field bridge inspection reports. In addition, interim inspections will be performed on the total Montgomery County inventory of posted bridges, poor/serious condition stone arches, and poor/serious condition fracture critical bridges.
The PCS team for this project will include: Theodore A. Tuz, P.E. as Project Manager; James S. White as Quality Assurance Manager; and Michael J. Willey, E.I.T. as Deputy Project Manager.
