Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc., an award winning, multi-disciplinary engineering firm has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our company as a Survey Manager.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Management and expansion of Survey Department
- Marketing, business development and management of client relationships
- Planning and coordination of all survey projects
- Conduct field surveys
- Boundary, topographic, and construction surveys
- Prepare Legal Descriptions
- Adherence to project schedules and budgets
- Mentor junior staff members
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Key qualifications to this position are:
- Must be a Professional Land Surveyor in PA; New Jersey license is desirable
- Minimum 10 years work experience is desirable
- Capable of performing, reviewing and certifying Boundary, Topographic, Construction and As-Built surveys
- Familiarity with conducting surveys using PennDOT standards is highly desirable
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, MicroStation is also desirable
- Proficient using Total Station, Robotics, GPS, RTK, and other survey equipment
- Experience performing hydrographic surveys is desirable
