Pickering, Corts & Summerson, a professional civil engineering and surveying firm, is proud to welcome Mark W. Bredl, P.E. as a Project Manager in our new Cranberry office. Prior to joining PCS, Mark was employed by PennDOT for over 35 years, where he served as the Assistant District Bridge Engineer for District 1-0. In this role he was responsible for supervising the NBIS inspection and load rating of the District’s inventory of 2,500 state and locally owned bridges. His duties also included bridge rehabilitation design and automated permit approvals. His resume at PennDOT encompasses time as the District Geotechnical Engineer, Bridge Design Supervisor, Bridge Designer and Bridge Safety Inspector.

Mark graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology. In his free time, Mark enjoys landscaping and hardscaping, as well as completing other projects around the home.
