Riverton-Belvidere Toll-Supported Bridge Critical Member Strengthening Design, Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission
This project involved the in-depth inspection, load rating analysis, and repair/strengthening of gusset plates and truss members possessing rating factors less than 1.0, as well as those having been affected as a result of vehicle impacts, flood events, etc. The Riverton-Belvidere Toll-Supported Bridge is a four-span, riveted steel, double Warren truss structure built in 1904 and carries Water Street across the Delaware River and connects Riverton, Lower Mount Bethel Township, Pennsylvania with the town of Belvidere, New Jersey.
