SR 1016, Section BBR Delaware Road over Delaware Canal, Riegelsville, Bucks County, PennDOT District 6-0

The canal is a National Historic Landmark and the bridge is located within the Riegelsville Historic District. PCS prepared an Alternatives Analysis Study and successfully navigated through the public involvement and Section 106 processes.

The recommended alternative called for a temporary bridge over the canal to maintain traffic during construction. PCS provided the highway, structure, traffic control and erosion and sedimentation control designs, and the DEP permits, survey, and delineation of existing legal right-of-way and property lines for right-of-way acquisition.
