Bridge Inspection and Load Rating of New Jersey Transit Bridges, NJDOT

This project involved the NBIS inspection of 40 New Jersey Transit Owned Bridges over New Jersey Transit’s Morristown Line, Montclair Line, and Bergen County Line. The project included load factor ratings of several posted structures and interim inspections. The majority of the bridges being inspected required special equipment such as large ladders and 35′ and high rail bucket trucks to reach critical areas. PCS worked closely with New Jersey Transit to ensure the highest level of safety for both the traveling public and our crews.
