Bridge Inspection and Load Rating of Mercer County Bridges, NJDOT

This project included the NBIS inspection of 61 Mercer County Bridges for NJDOT over a four year period for two cycles. One bridge was over an active railroad and the remaining bridges were over waterways. PCS utilized large ladders, platform boats, and inspection cranes to gain access to reach critical areas. Superstructure types included stone arches, box culverts, steel trusses, steel beams, riveted steel girders, and prestressed concrete beams and voided slabs.
