Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission Biennial Bridge Inspections

PCS performed the biennial NBIS inspection of Pennsylvania Turnpike bridges, including the underwater inspection of several of the structures. PCS’ portion of this project included 122 bridges, 80 high mast lights, and 129 retaining and sound walls. PCS teams utilized bucket trucks, manlifts, and inspection cranes to gain access to reach critical areas. Using state-of-the-art bridge inspection equipment, our team precisely measured section loss on critical members and provided detailed sketches of defects to ensure accurate structural analysis.
